James Neuenschwander (New’-in-schwan’-der), aka Dr. Neu (New), is a physician dually board certified in Emergency and Integrative medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan with both a bachelor’s degree in cellular and molecular biology and a medical degree. For over 30 years, he has cared for chronically ill children and adults using the philosophy of “healing illness at its source.” Since 2007, he has incorporated the care of children on the autism spectrum into his practice. He continues to apply the latest science to the care of his patients. Dr. Neu is a member of multiple professional societies and is president of the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (MAPS), a group dedicated to integrative pediatrics, where he is responsible for the content of their conferences.
